Look! The trio
of troubadour trees,
are singing
and dancing!
Stately and tall,
they swerve and fall,...
How can I be free?
Free from this purgatory
Of yearning?
As I stood,
facing west,
where you leaned;
It seemed as though,
the rising moon,...
A flash!
Bright yellow sun;
Flying, through an ocean of green;
An instant,
of such sublime beauty!...
Their wanderings,
across the landscape of my table,
remind me
of fragments of my mind...
I want to descend
upon you,
like mist;
On your mountain peaks,
your hills and valleys,
Your plains, your gullies.....
Yet, as I watch,
your frolicking smile,
an epiphany strikes my soul.
I know not, when the wise said,
"Another will make you whole."
Sorrow is resignation;
It is acceptance.
Sorrow is nightfall;
Quiet and serene.
As we sat,
near dawn,
facing each other...
“I return, to that cool resolve,
of night's solitude.
My day's burning is done...
