Sleepy conversation with the moon

One night,

my friend, the moon, spoke to me:

Of life and death;

Of love and sorrow;

And many a wise thing

That reminiscence fails to bring.

I listened, patiently,

as he drifted through

the cloud laced sky of words.

After a while, I replied,

“My friend, that is quite deep;

Quite deep.

But now, I think,

I will sleep.”
